The idea for this gorgeous water lily headpiece has been sloshing around in my head for a while now. I love it when an idea comes together!
Keep warm at your outdoor event! This lovely big drapey wrap is handwoven on my rigid heddle loom using a combination of natural yarns, mostly pink cotton, but with some wool stripes to highlight the pretty pink vintage cotton fabric trim at each end. Outdoor socializing in the UK means finding new ways to keep warm! Here’s a super ice cream colored wrap for when it gets chilly. Handwoven on my rigid heddle loom. It’s a one-off, so guaranteed no-one else will have one quite like it. Shop here: https://www.numonday.com/product/handwoven-ladies-wrap-in-summers-ice-cream-colours/
Almost at the end of this piece of experimental fabric now. The plan is to make a posh hat with it! Watch this space...
These lovelies are ready for dispatch to a very discerning customer. Made from my handwoven fabric.
There’s a very good article on “the Terror” in The Times today: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/the-quest-to-the-frozen-north-the-real-story-behind-the-terror-2cgxn0rl0 This does, however, fail to mention the cutting edge 😉 knitwear that was produced for the programme. So here is some of it, modelled by my very own terrors.
